Mary Herrera, DVM:

Owner and full time Veterinarian.  Dr. Mary graduated Magna Cum Lauda from Oregon State University in 1990.  She has a passion for the animals and considers it a privilage to work with them. 

Amanda:  Office Manager
Amanda came in one day in 2002 to drop off a resume, we put her to work the very next day! She never missed a beat and we are happy that she joined our team.
Stephen Herrera, DVM
Co-owner and founder.  Dr. Steve is semi-retired and prefers to be fishing, building something, or playing on a large piece of equipment.  He still practices medicine & helps with surgeries when he doesn't have one of his projects going.

Dr. Cierra Buer

Dr.Cierra graduated in 2006 from Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Canada. She has a special interest in horses, in addition to small animals. Her other interests include snow skiing, whitewater rafting and riding her horses. She is excited to be working in Sutherlin, and utilizing the diversity Oregon has to offer.
Judy Gutknecht; Veterinary Assistant
Judy moved to Oregon with her husband from Southern California. She has worked as a veterinary assistant for many years and has a special affinity for cats. She enjoys working with her husband on her property in her free time.
Sue has rejoined the hospital for the
third time and we are extremely glad
and lucky to have her back. Her skills
and compassion are an asset to the
clinic. Sue is the mother of 5 and enjoys
spending time with family and pets.
Sue Peterson: Lead Veterinary Assistant
Eric joined us in the summer of 2007. He is wonderful with the animals and has a special gift with the nervous boarders. Eric is also in charge of maintenance and kennel work and takes great pride in his work.
Eric Goolsby: Kennel Care and Maintenance
Kym has joined the clinic from Idaho. She previously worked in aveterinary hospital as an office manager. She has taken to her new joblike a fish to water and hasn't looked back. We value her dedicationand energy daily. Kym enjoys golfing in her free time.
Kym Overacker: Lead Room Technician
Rocky Caudill: Veterinary Assistant
Rocky joined the clinic in the winter of 2007. He is an avid Doxie breeder and also breeds Old English Chickens. In his free time Rocky enjoys spending time with his niece, friends and family.

Stephanie joined us in the beginning of 2008 when we had desperate need for someone with her communication and organizational skills. Stephanie enjoys
 spending time with her pets and family in her free time.

Ruth joined us late in 2007. She brought her dog in to be seen and by the next day we had hired her on. Ruth has previous experience working at a veterinary hospital and we really value her calm and practical nature. Ruth is an excellent cook and enjoys travelling during her vacation time.
